Oracle APEX is a low-code platform included with Oracle Database for building web applications that run on the database tier. BZ Softech develops APEX applications, PL/SQL packages, interactive reports and ORDS REST services, and supports and upgrades existing APEX systems.
Why APEX
If your data already lives in Oracle, APEX removes a great deal of unnecessary machinery. The application runs in the database tier, so there is no separate application server to license, secure, patch and integrate. It is included with the database, which makes the business case unusually simple.

It is a poorer fit for consumer-facing products needing highly custom interaction design.
No. APEX runs on any Oracle Database, on premises or in the cloud, including Express Edition. Oracle Autonomous Database includes it ready to use, which is convenient, but on-premises deployment is fully supported.
Yes. The Universal Theme is responsive, and APEX applications can be installed as progressive web apps. Genuinely mobile-first workflows still benefit from deliberate design rather than assuming a desktop layout will shrink well.
