Web development

Websites and web applications that hold up under real business load

Corporate sites, custom web applications, e-commerce, enterprise portals and SaaS platforms - built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Laravel and WordPress.

Short answer

Web development services cover the planning, design, engineering, testing and maintenance of websites and web applications. BZ Softech builds corporate sites, custom web applications, e-commerce stores, enterprise portals, PWAs and SaaS platforms, and supports them after launch.

The problem most teams bring us

The site was built quickly, by someone who has moved on. Editing a page means raising a ticket. The mobile experience was an afterthought. Search traffic has drifted down for two years and nobody can say why. Meanwhile the sales team keeps asking for a page that does not exist yet.

None of that is a design problem. It is a structure problem: no content model, no URL strategy, no performance budget, no owner. We fix the structure first, then make it look like a company worth buying from.

What we build

Corporate and marketing websites

Multi-language sites with a proper content model behind them. Services, case content, blog posts, navigation and SEO fields are all editable. New pages do not need a deployment.

Custom web applications

Internal tools, operations dashboards, approval workflows, reporting portals. These usually replace a spreadsheet that grew past what a spreadsheet should carry, or a legacy desktop application nobody wants to touch.

E-commerce

Catalogue structure, variant handling, checkout, payment gateways, tax and shipping rules, order management, and the reporting your finance team asks for at month end. WooCommerce where it fits; a custom build where volume, catalogue complexity or integration depth demands it.

Enterprise portals

Customer, supplier, distributor and employee portals with role-based permissions, audit trails and single sign-on against your existing identity provider.

SaaS platforms

Multi-tenant architecture, subscription and usage billing, plan limits, tenant administration and an internal back office for your own support team.

Progressive web applications

Installable web apps with offline tolerance and background sync, for field engineers, delivery teams and sales staff working where connectivity is unreliable.

Technology, chosen for the job

Next.js, React and TypeScript for applications where interactivity and rendering performance matter. Laravel or Node.js on the back end. WordPress and WooCommerce for content-led sites and straightforward stores. PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle for the database, usually decided by what you already run rather than what is fashionable.

We do not put a framework on a proposal that we cannot support afterwards.

Security and performance

Input validation on every write path, parameterised queries, output escaping, CSRF protection on state-changing forms, rate limiting on public endpoints, secure session cookies, and a content security policy that is actually enforced. Dependencies are pinned and monitored.

On performance: image formats and sizes, font loading strategy, code splitting, caching headers and server rendering are treated as build requirements with agreed budgets, verified on each release.

Search visibility

Server-rendered HTML, clean and stable URLs, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, structured data for organisation, service, article, FAQ and breadcrumb markup, and correct hreflang where a site runs in more than one language. When URLs change, 301 redirects are created automatically rather than remembered manually.

After launch

Sites decay without attention. Maintenance covers security patching, dependency upgrades, uptime and error monitoring, backups, and a monthly note explaining what changed and what needs a decision.

What's included

What web development services covers

  • Corporate websites

Marketing sites with a real content model behind them, so your team edits pages without waiting on a developer.

  • Custom web applications

Dashboards, portals and internal tools that replace the spreadsheets a department has outgrown.

  • E-commerce

Catalogue, checkout, payment and fulfilment flows on WooCommerce or a custom stack, depending on volume and complexity.

  • Enterprise portals

Customer, supplier and partner portals with role-based access and single sign-on against your existing directory.

  • SaaS platforms

Multi-tenant products with subscription billing, usage limits and an administration back office.

  • Progressive web apps

Installable, offline-tolerant web apps for field teams who cannot rely on a stable connection.

  • API and integration work

REST APIs, third-party integrations and middleware that connects the systems you already run.

  • Maintenance and support

Security patching, dependency upgrades, uptime monitoring and a named contact for changes.

Business outcomes

What changes for the business

  • Pages your team can actually change

Content, navigation and SEO fields live in a CMS. Editors publish; developers are not the bottleneck.

  • Performance treated as a requirement

Core Web Vitals budgets are agreed up front and checked on every release, not measured after launch.

  • Search visibility built into the structure

Server rendering, clean URLs, structured data and hreflang are part of the build, not a later retrofit.

  • Code you can hand to another team

Typed, reviewed and documented. No hidden framework, no licence you did not agree to.

How we work

How an engagement runs

  1. 01

    Discovery

We map the pages, user journeys and integrations, then agree what ships first and what waits.

  2. 02

    Information architecture

URL structure, content model and navigation are designed before any interface work starts.

  3. 03

    Design

Wireframes then visual design, reviewed against real content rather than placeholder text.

  4. 04

    Build

Two-week iterations on a staging environment you can open at any time.

  5. 05

    Hardening

Accessibility, performance, security headers, error handling and analytics are verified before launch.

  6. 06

    Launch and support

DNS cutover with redirects in place, followed by an agreed support window.
